Cinnamon Roll with cream cheese glaze





Assalammualaikum

Hello sweetie, 

As promise this is the recipe of my sister’s speciality: 

Cinnamon Roll with Cream cheese Glaze.

(I don’t have the details pictures, busy with the households in weekends.)

The ingredients:

320 gram Bread Flour
80 gram all purposes flour
90 gram castor sugar
1 ½ teaspoon milk powder
4 tablespoon yeast
1 egg
180ml water
50 gram butter 

The filling :
1 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoon cinnamon powder
Raisins

Glaze:
2 1/2 ounces cream cheese, softened, approximately 1/4 cup
3 tablespoons milk

Method


1      Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
2)      Combined all ingredients and knead until stiff dough formed. Check the consistency of the dough, add more flour if necessary; the dough should feel soft and moist but not sticky.

3)      Add dough to greased bowl. Place bowl in a warm area with a towel on top. Let rise until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.

4)      On a cutting board, sprinkle 2 tablespoons flour. Punch down and roll out dough to approximately 12 by 15-inch rectangle. Spread with butter. Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Roll dough into a large pin wheel cylinder and cut ends off the roll. Cut into 8 portions.

5)      Put in greased pan, pin wheel side down and let rise to double in size. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until browned evenly. Remove from the oven and allow cooling completely.

6)      While the rolls are cooling slightly, make the icing by whisking the cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer until creamy. Add the milk and whisk until combined. Spread over the rolls and serve immediately.
