Blueberry Custard Tart

Just want to share our Tea Time Dessert yesterday , sunday.

Blueberry Custard Tart

This time is an instant dessert ,it's only took approximately 10-15 minutes to prepared it .Why i call it instant as i already made the pastry ..ermm like 2 weeks ago , i 'm not gonna to spend a day long , messy and tiring day with the pastry and the custard in the same day .I love so much doing this ,you can just made it and keep in airtight tupperware up to 2-4 weeks .Just re- heat  in the oven  before you fill it with your own favourite filling .:)

So there we go the recipes i used for the pastry : ( from my mum )

The Ingredients
200 gm Butter
80 gm Icing Sugar
360 gm  Superfine Flour ( u can also use All purposes flour )
1 Egg
1 tsp of vanilla essence

1) Preheat oven 170 degree C
2) Combines the butter in the bowl with sugar  and beat until light and fluffy .
3)Gradually add the egg, beating just until incorporated.
4) Add the flour mixture all at once and mix just until it forms a dough :) ball.
5) cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes or just until firm.
6) Lightly prick bottom of pastry with the tines of a fork ( this will prevent dough from puffing up as it bakes )
7) Bakes for 10 minutes or until dry or lightly golden brown .

obviously you also need the tart mould .,you can get 5 pcs from MYR 3.50 ( around that price.)

Rania and i bake it last 2 weeks ago ,and yesterday we made the easy and quick tart filling , for a lazy mom like me .

2) In the same bowl , add egg and 1 cup of milk .Whisk until incorporated ,then add another 2 cup of milk .Add vanilla essence .
3) Heat the mixture just boils and then allow to simmer until thickened.
4) When the mixture thickened , remove from heat .Add butter and stir until mixture smooth and shiny .
5) Keep in the fridge for a while ,
6 ) when u ready to serve , whisk whipping cream until fluffy and add the custard mixtures together .

the custard filling.
please kindly ignore the cream puff ( its really nice tho : yummmy dip dip dip and eat ,heaven )

To make a simple and beautiful delicious tart is,  one blueberry in the pastry , add the custard filling ,and  one more blueberry on  top....tada..............
